WILLISTON HERALD 'NY Film Crew Looks for Community'

/ No comments / Interview

While visiting the Bakken oil region for a commercial, I was greatly inspired by the area and it's people. If you read the news, Williston, North Dakota sounds like a place over run with greed and violence but what I saw was a story of a community facing transition and trying to decide who they wanted to be.

On a whim, I traveled out there with a small crew and spent the month of November living in a man camp while looking for stories to tell. I was very fortunite to meet kind people in the schools, sheriffs department and many local businesses/organizations to speak with. While there we became friends with the reporters of the Williston Herald who asked if they could cover our adventures for the paper.

I was very surprised and honored to find out we would be featured on the cover of their Sunday edition. Living out there was a once in a lifetime experience and I'm very excited abotu the project we have been putting together. In the meantime please check out this article by the Herald's Jerry Burnes:
